An Orcas Island Resort For All Seasons - We Are Open Year 'Round!
If escaping to a quiet, comfortable beach setting is your idea of a vacation destination, we offer waterfront beach cottages, 1 & 2 bedrooms, studios and rooms. All lodgings are fully furnished, our cottages have fully equipped kitchens, studios have continental kitchens, all have microwaves and briquette BBQ's. The non-cooking rooms upstairs are for 2 adults, each of the 4 rooms have a private bathroom, share a front sitting room and sundeck overlooking the water. Lieber Haven Resort and Marina boat and kayak rentals: Kayak rentals include single kayaks, tandem kayaks & triple kayak rental by the hour, half day or daily rental. Boat rentals include rowboats and double rowing skiffs. We have a general store with groceries, wine, beer, ice, camping supplies, fishing supplies, firewood, and Orcas Island and San Juan Islands maps and souvenirs. Come by boat or bring your boat, we also have a small marina with guest boat moorage (read more), and there is a boat launch ramp nearby. FREE web access for guests; bring your wifi-ready devise, we are a internet hotspot!

Orcas Island Kayak Rentals at Lieber Haven Resort and Marina. You do not have to be a guest staying at the resort to rent kayaks or rowboats, we have single kayaks, tandem kayaks and triple kayak rentals and a variety of rowboat rentals including double rowing skiffs. You can rent kayaks and boats by the hour, half day or day, (children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult), Orcas Island Kayaks .Com. Leave from our dock to go whale watching and/or take a day trip to Friday Harbor: San Juan Island Commuter offers daily service during the summer months between Bellingham, Lieber Haven Resort and Marina on Orcas Island, and Friday Harbor (San Juan Island). Lieber Haven Resort and Marina guests can get discount day passes to use Orcas Spa and Athletic Center facilities, the center has a heated indoor swimming pool, sauna, whirlpool, modern athletic equipment,fitness programs and Orcas Spa and Athletic Center offers a variety of massage and beauty treatments ( licensed Orcas Island massage therapists ). Lieber Haven Resort and Marina is located on Obstruction Pass Rd. just past Olga, exactly one mile from the Obstruction Pass State Park Trailhead Road, and only 4 mi. from Moran State Park, the largest public recreation park in the San Juan Islands. Moran State Park offers numerous wilderness hiking trails, biking trails, several beautiful swimming and fishing lakes in addition to the viewing tower located at the top of Mt. Constitution, which is noted for being one of the best marine views in the world! Orcas Island offers a wide range of other activities and attractions; galleries, pottery studios, gift stores, theater, skate park, golf course, horseback riding, whale watching, boat tours, scenic flights, farmers market, and numerous local events.

Transportation and Directions to Orcas Island
Orcas Island Ferry Schedule:
Orcas Island is one of four islands in the San Juans Islands (also called San Juans) archipelago that are served by the Washington State Ferry from Anacortes. There are 8 - 10 daily departures. The (WSF) Washington State ferry from Orcas Island also provides you with easy access to other San Juan Islands for day trips, and to Sidney BC (Victoria BC). You may bring a car or walk on the ferry. NOTE: When you purchase your WSF ticket you are paying for a round trip ticket! On your way back to Anacortes, from any of the San Juan Islands, you can get off and visit any island for as long as you want, as long as you are traveling eastbound there is no charge to get on and off the ferry. Orcas Island Transportation
Walk on the Orcas Island Ferry or come by an Orcas Island Water Taxi to our dock. Orcas Island has flights to Orcas Island, taxi service, car rentals and Orcas Island Shuttle. Orcas Island Shuttle offers car rentals, taxi service and other transportaion services, available year-round on-demand or by reservation for groups of one or more. Orcas Island Shuttle also has a public bus that runs seasonal with regular scheduled stops, you can get on and off the bus anywhere along the way, their service is reliable, handicap accessible and has bike racks Orcas Island Shuttle.
Directions to Lieber Haven Resort and Marina
Once you leave the Orcas Island ferry terminal you will veer left, which will put you on the main Orcas Island road. Stay on this road for approximately 10 miles until you reach the village of Eastsound; turn right and proceed through Eastsound until you come to the end, at the "T" intersection; make a right, go through Moran State Park, go past Olga about half a mile and there will be a sign that says Obstruction Pass Store and Lieber Haven Resort and Marina, which is Obstruction Pass Rd. You will want to veer to the right at this point; follow the road to Lieber Haven Resort and Marina. Parking is available at the main entrance. Our office is located in our waterfront general store. We are located approx. 4 mi. from Moran State Park and 1 mile from Obstruction Pass State Park

  • Summer Rates $135.00 - $165.00 up to 4 persons. Some of our lodgings may be for up to 6 persons, there is an additional charge of 15.00 per person, for over 4 persons, there is no additional charge for babies, children under 2 years old.
    We offer special group rates for wedding, reunions, retreats and sm. business meetings.
  • Amenities: During your stay, we provide linens, coffee filters, trash bags, toilet paper and various soap products. Full kitchen units are furnished with cooking utensils, dining utensils, stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, and briquet BBQ. Studios have continental kitchens with sm. refridgerator, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, dishes and briquet BBQ. All units have indoor dining table and chairs. All Cottages and 1 apt. have a deck on the front. All lodgings also have outdoor tables, chairs and/or picnic table use. There is several picnic tables and lounge chairs located along the front lawn/beach area as well. All units are "self housekeeping" which means daily housekeeping is not provided, if you would like a helping hand, just ask. Kayak rentals and rowboat rentals are available (as weather permits), bring your fishing gear, or we may have some fishing poles available for your use. Web access - Internet hotspot: FREE high speed wireless internet access is available for our guests. Not staying at the resort, we have day, week and month internet access cards. Hotspot access, supplied Orcas Island's ISP Orcas Online.
  • Cancellation Policy: 10 Days prior to arrival date cancellation notice required
    We must ask that you honor your reservation, the remoteness of the island may make it impossible to fill vacancies that might otherwise have been rented. Cancellations made less than 10 days prior to arrival date: We reserve the right to charge your credit card 1 nights lodging per lodging reserved. No Show: We reserve the right to charge your credit card for the entire amount of your reservation. If you need to cancel your reservations, we will provide you with a cancellation number.
