I will never forget when we were kids we had been out at sea for quite sometime sailing Lieber off the
Coast of California, I was night helmsman and you and Nora where laying on the back deck looking up at the stars and moon.
You told Nora that you had been wondering which was closer "The Moon or Florida"?
Nora said " HELLO! you can't see Florida".
Still makes me laugh! I was always glad to be the helmsman.
Remember how hot and sunny the days were? You where both so blonde...

Hey! Jacqueline and Dale if you land on an island down there that has wild pigs, unless there is trees around, Do Not tease them! Jacqueline remember Santa Cruz Island, the abandoned 1800's building full of cute wild baby pigs and their concerned??? MOTHER.    RUN! RUN FAST! I didn't have to out run her, I had to out run you!
 Do not, walk on the back of whales anymore, or at least have shoes on...I'm sure the barnacles have gotten bigger.
Remember putting our hand in the whale's blow hole, and it rolled slightly so we could look straight in it's BIG eye. Our friend whale, always following us. In the windless dulldrums that whale loved to knudge Lieber, just to let us know it was there, and following us, so we could play on it's back and swim with it...Our Grey Whale..Those where the times HUH!
How about lounging in the net, below the bowsprit, watching the dolphins filed along Lieber's hull, exploring the islands for fruit, all the wild grapes and berries, lobster and abalone. The Stars..The Peace. The Family.
All this reminds me of the childhood friends we had, and all the dreams. I hope all your dreams come true in Baja.
